can I really say
something new ?
or is it just lipstick and mascara
on a razorback hog

maybe if I dig down
deep into the sty
way down there in the rotted fertilizer
I can find a new edible mushroom

that wants to meet me...
understands my stomach issues
for ingesting whatever, I think I hear him say
"Hey , I'm a fun guy "

I'm sick of the rabbit hole !
it's more cliche than I can bear....
give me the pig shit,
let me breathe the earth and sing

I guess I felt for the woman in the days of wine and roses, in a deep intense Greta Garbo way
The way she looked out that window and said " I drink because it makes the world seem less dirty and beautiful instead of sad"
I was Greta Garbo with a black American spirit- oh I felt so cool and introspective
