visions of glory days
fading like my favorite Levi's
Springsteen's Born to Run
has morphed into Born to Mosey
and it ain't bad takin' yer time
noticing the nuances of each step
pink petals on the sidewalk
shapes of leaves on a spring canvas
grasping the stories in nimbus voices
I'm in transition you might say
from sprinter to marathon man
when the finish line is amorphous,
an old bloke trying to complete something...
from jet skier to ancient mariner
remember the hare ?
