coming of age

Post by saw » May 25th, 2017, 8:47 am

reaching for stars
is good exercise
stretches all the neurons
and prevents blood clots

shooting for the moon is just
as valid as shooting the curl
dancing atop the bonzai pipeline
high enough to get a better look

hanging ten
or twenty or more dreams
on the milky way. biting
into the the chocolate universe....

I saw a boy in the sky
racing down, on his homemade skateboard
and he was me.... 8) 8)
and me was he
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

My memories of endless days on the southern California beaches as a teenager, body surfing. Those days before the psychedelic wave crashed on my head.

thanx for comments guys...yeah Mark, you got it....used to cut a shape from a piece of wood with a saber saw then bolt an old skate to it....then do all kinds of collages on the top, then lacquer with many coats....we were all trying to outdo our friends...big fun
