if humans ever get it together
we won't have presidents and popes
anymore

when, and if humans get it together
everybody will be a poet
and after calling the shit hats out

after the whole population rises up
and casts off the evil cabal once
and for all, maybe the mother ships
will appear finally in the nick of time

maybe I put too much faith in poetry
but if people don't know how
to imagine poetic justice
we will never turn this thing around
so here I am on my poet soap box
feigning madness, kinda like asking
a lot of strange questions
while looking around wildly at the crowd

good stuff....this vision makes more sense than the reality we endure under men with no imaginations........

Right, making war is a total lack of imagination, maybe it just seemed like part of human nature when people fought with arrows and swords, because it seems like people have been killing each other all the way back, think of the contradictions in the Bible, love your neighbor or kill him. But in this day and age when they can blow the planet up many times over, there still are psychopaths that believe they can win a nuclear war, insane.
