where is it all headed

it's not headed in any direction
that you want to go,

poetry, music, art
it's all headed down hill
because it all will be normalized

because nobody will be able to think
outside of the control box
we will be packed into prefab cities
and forced to live in small cubicles

those who are still alive
will be like rats in a cage
and all you will do is hang out
in virtual reality

robots will do all the work
robots don't make art or poetry
art and poetry will be a quaint reality

where we are headed is not where
you want to be headed if you are a poet
but in virtual reality all your fantasies
will be true

or maybe something else will happen
there is a huge multiverse out there

Straight to heaven or hell I guess. Nobody seems to be content with anything in between..

where is it headed?
to a cliff, with no brakes,
to gouge and strip mother rock,
to a nation of planted hate-bots,
to the programming of group mind,
to a reduction of all truth to money,
to the one true god-- profit, amen,
to a crushing of anything in its way,
and so it goes.

(btw, I think they might actually have such a thing as "hate bots" doing their thing on the net)..
