Curvaceous Universe

Strange physics on the frontier,
mining for God (particles) down in
Star Trek Bat Caves with monster magnets,
shooting and obliterating protons to seek clues
to divinity, our gross ignorance of gravity and
black holes and mass that curves space.
Some said it was a religion, and it is.
Great arcs of sage and creosote curve space,
and they're everywhere, stretched out to a fringe,
seen from even the worst truck stop, even if the
bulldozers maul and the State shows up with
signs to try to carve and itemize that infinity.
