Curvaceous Universe

Strange physics on the frontier,
mining for God (particles) down in
Star Trek Bat Caves with monster magnets,
shooting and obliterating protons to seek clues
to divinity, our gross ignorance of gravity and
black holes and mass that curves space.

Some said it was a religion, and it is.
Great arcs of sage and creosote curve space,
and they're everywhere, stretched out to a fringe,
seen from even the worst truck stop, even if the
bulldozers maul and the State shows up with
signs to try to carve and itemize that infinity.

Thanks Mr. S. This was going to be longer- on the general subject of curvaceous universe- but it sucks, trying to type on this phone...

Very interesting, creosote curve space..
strange physics that very few people know about.

The great arcs, on which the sage and creosotes live, are what (seem to) curve space... There are lots of them in the Vegas- Death Valley areas of the Mojave. They curve and warp over many miles, sometimes thousands of feet up or down, yet so open and vast and subtle that it doesn't seem like such a large climb or descent...

What did you just say, seems to contain such an enigma, like secrets the native Americans know. Space and plants that grow in it.

Just something that amazed me when I first drove through the desert near Vegas years ago. Being out on those vast curving sweeps felt way different than any other land I'd experienced. Reminded me of a "curvaceous universe"...
