tell me .........
why ?
a supreme being
would subject as lovely a person
to atrocities
and intense pain,
stolen
as she was living
a beautiful life
mindfull
and giving
and full of love.....
why ?
C'mon....Why ?

because
there is no such animal.
morality
is but a fragile construct
built
from the rarest of minerals:
selflessness
generosity
kindness
empathy...
and those so built
are easily consumed
by the rapacious...
the universe knows only one law:
survive at all costs
and those who give
- willingly or not -
enable those who take.
wars are not won by the gentle
but feed upon them
that the savage might endure

I’m not a religious person… I just don’t understand why human beings can be so hateful and cruel and evil.

I pray.. to the Universe.. to me, prayer is positive energy sent out into the universe… because all life is energy and the only way I can think of to affect the energy of life is to project positive energy and hope that energy joins with other positive energy projected by others to create a more powerful force to help overcome the negative energy.

Where is she? My heart goes out to her family. I pray she is alive and has not been harmed.

I don't have enough time for theology these day
since god was murdered in the 19th century
Who am I to know what god allows
music helps me cope it is god to me or something like it
loves this song
He threw me in the needle bed
Across my dress he lay
Then he pinned my hands above my head
And I commenced to pray
I cried my God I am your child
Send your angels down
Then feeling with my finger tips
The bottle neck I found
I drew that glass across his neck
Fine as any blade
Then I felt his blood pour fast and hot
Around me where I laid
Caleb Meyer your ghost is gonna
Wear them rattling chains
But when I go to sleep at night
Don't you call my name

when i speak of god i intend for it to be wide open
the one many of us, I suspect, have spoken silent words to... as desperate thoughts tossed into the air....when we don't know what else to do......
the universal spirit that may exist ....The Collective Consciousness.....

on the other hand, I suppose it's a condemnation of any supreme being standing by when pure evil comes to town

What did Malcolm X mean by chickens come home to roost?

I'm burned out on God I hit a brick wall
there's a void there an abyss
I can't conceive
words fail
so I listen to the music

too much Nietzsche and LSD
“He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into you”

we all hope for her return

—The Best Movie About Israel and Gaza Now Came Out 18 Years Ago
... Ali. In the quiet of a night’s cease-fire, the two men share an exchange that feels chillingly relevant today:

Avner: You people have nothing to bargain with. You’ll never get the land back. You’ll all die old men in refugee camps, waiting for Palestine.

Ali: We have a lot of children. They’ll have children. So we can wait forever. And if we need to, we can make the whole planet unsafe for Jews.

Avner: You kill Jews, and the world feels bad for them and thinks you animals.

Ali: Yes. But then the world will see how they’ve made us into animals.

Sorry about the rant. I am a very old. I would like to borrow this epitaph from Kurt Vonnegut
“If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music.”
I believe in Einstein's God. Spinosa's God that shoots craps with the universe.
Man means nothing he means less to me
Than the lowliest cactus flower
Or the humblest Yucca tree
He chases round this desert
Cause he thinks that's where I'll be
That's why I love mankind

I believe in prophecy.
Some folks see things not everybody can see.
And, once in a while, they pass the secret along to you and me.
And I believe in miracles.
Something sacred burning in every bush and tree.
We can all learn to sing the songs the angels sing.
Yeah, I believe in God, and God ain't me

You got questions about God? Go ask Job
Another book acid etched on my mind, An Answer To Job, Carl Jung
I am twisted, crazy, Henry Miller's sick Jew , don't mind me.

If Henry Miller was an elephant
Only gradually and sparingly does Miller reveal his intense romanticism, universalist mysticism and devout humanism. Ten pages into "Cancer", for example, he tells of a Jew in a lion cage without a gun trying to explain Spinoza to the lions, essentially a parable predicting the Holocaust.
