I'm going to go out to look for it. It's a new moon, so black sky.

Me too but ... I can't figure out what time! Some people told me 11pm tonight Eastern Time.... The article from MSNBC above says something different... 3 or 4am? or something!!!???

I'm sooo confused! lol

If it wasn't going to be so chilly tonight, I'd get a blanket and just lie out there in the yard and look up at the sky... then whenever it happened would be fine! *smile*

If you can figure out what time better than I can, SLD, let me know, OK?

between 3:30 and 5:30 a.m. EST
I was going to try this time frame on msnbc
usually I'd be sound asleep, but I was gonna set the alarm.
I can't play hooky tomorrow :P though I'd like to.

Thank you! Wonder why people have told me 11pm tonight? Maybe they're in a different part of the world and I just didn't notice... ;)

Yeah, I should be asleep then... with my luck, I'll sleep instead of having my usual insomnia and be wide awake. :)

If the insomnia hits, though, I'm going out to see it! (if it can be seen from here)

I didn't wake up. I fell asleep early and forgot to set the alarm to 3 am. Did you see it Doreen?

I was sleeping. Oh well. :)

On the facebook page, it says:

"Start Time:
Monday, November 16, 2009 at 11:00pm
End Time:
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 4:00am
Location:
The Skies of the World"

So who knows whether that's accurate but if so, maybe we can try again tonight to see them while we're still awake! ;)

It doesn't say where in the world these times are.
