Nah, the concept of Feet is one that I don't like and another that I eschew. Each type of foot (a terribly dull and useless list) contains a specific number of syllables, with specific stresses. Too constrictive for me, I like to break things up

Well, beats me..... I was just guessing.

I'm no poetry scholar.

I thought "feet" was the term they used for beats.

Who knows? Not me.

I just write it to be spoken and think of it as music and the accents of the naturally spoken word make rhythms, no matter what you call them, no matter how you count them...

It's music.

That's all.

*shrug*

Write it and if you hear it while you write it, that's when it works.

I eschew entirely the division of metre by syllables.
Who knows? Not me.
Yeah lets start a church

So when someone asks us for the answer
We can say, "Beats me"

i can not do poetry because I can't do music. Which is weird because I used to be smart in math. But I like to fool around with haiku because they happen so fast I don't have think.
