I was going to delete the one above this. It sounds so morbid. I pass that tree on my way to my sisters house. I call it my hai tree, whatever that means. It is the story of my life. Lightning blasted and wind twisted. Half its limbs are gone. I can't figure out why it survives.

My pit is planted. I have touched the sky, the only thing that keeps me going these days is I am too broke to die. But I am still willin..."out on the road late at night. I see my pretty Alice in every headlight"

Morning melancholia,

Who is this "Alice"
an old flame
or is it the chick
from "Wonderland" fame?
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

just rock and roll
written by Lowell George
© Abraham Music

I been warped by the rain, driven by the snow
I'm drunk and dirty, don't you know
But I'm still willin'

Out on the road late last night
I'd see my pretty Alice in every headlight
Alice, Dallas Alice

And I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonopah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the backroads so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me weed, whites and wine
And you show me a sign
And I'll be willin' to be movin'

And I've been kicked by the wind, robbed by the sleet
Had my head stove in but I'm still on my feet
And I'm still willin'

And I smuggled some smokes and folks from Mexico
Baked by the sun every time I go to Mexico
Ah but I'm still...

And I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonopah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the backroads so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me weed, whites and wine
And you show me a sign
And I'll be willin' to be movin'

Yes, I've been trying to beat the land speed record for sappy poetry. I'm well on my way.

How many poets does it take to change a lightbulb?

Two. One to come up with the ideas  the other to hold the ladder.

Such sweet sap
maple syrup on my waffle
Hemingway always wrote best when he was ...

…All you have to do is write one true sentence

I've always been partial to the sweet sap myself. Drizzled delicately with plenty of butter.

If I couldn't write I might become as silent as a stone. It's become a bit of a port in a storm.

Fossilized Sap
Frozen in amber
Caution light

I have always been partial to women
They make me so happy to be a man
Grateful to be a thing called alive
Even if I am stoned

Myopic Sychophantitis

the eyes have it
don't they roll
gasp in their displeasure
sigh
but I could simply eat you up
whole
flick you on the end of my tongue
and look around for more
myopic pendulitis
my eyes fixate, adore
my body?
my body?
my body is traitor to sensibilities
you
floor
me

Ha Ha Ha...

this struck me sooooooo funny

I just took a gander at the top of the page...

"you have no new messages"

How true

How fucking true

there's nothing new

nothing new

no new messages

no knew messages

nodding my head

chin to chest times 32

"you have no new messages"

only the same old same old

tried and true messages...

message received

I stumbled upon this word

Mousterian

Function: adjective
Etymology: French moustérien, from Le Moustier, cave in Dordogne, France
: of or relating to a Middle Paleolithic culture that is characterized by well-made flake tools often considered the work of Neanderthal man

Ha ha

Ha ha

well it follows

leads to

Mouseturdian

that's me

Mouseturdian enigma

mellow drama

chasing my tail through the hole of existance

scraping mania as I go

with ill-fashioned tools
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!

Every morning I make the vowel
No more cheese doodles or mousey poems
but I keep on munching and reading
a prisoner of your words
