meditation on the ordinary
the blessings of basic forms
essential being
glass and light
glass water and light
an empty cup
a block of wood
and distant books
a mat
and a table
high above the muted floor
a landscape of
essential shapes
telling us that we are one
with everything

shaded clear vision of what used to be
unguarded on table tops
sheer purposes
thoughts feared
left out for the world to see
closed images
aligned
while some hand
some steady hand
expecting promises to be revealed
contemplates
freezes the moment
in time the memory unfolds
pristeen
uncluttered
warmly glows
