1st person, 3rd person singular
proprietary and confidential discoveries in the realm of conspicuous existence

He speaks in the third person.
He said she said this, she meant that.

He is the narrator, the prevaricator, the
cross synergist of whispers and facets,
the stone cold coal of explanation,
the diamond reflection
thousands upon thousands of
tons piled on to create evidence,
proof of innocence.

I, on the other hand, am a note taker,
a faker of poetic wit,
a bit smitten by language.

I speak in the first person,
The only person I know.

I am completely and totally out of it.
I'm sure there are observers who would concur.
According to him, I'm just her.

I'm submitting this one to the New Yorker.

I only post my favorite pieces to my artlog.
