Unexpected surprise

Post by Doreen Peri » December 23rd, 2009, 12:22 pm

I guess that's redundant. "Unexpected surprise." All surprises are unexpected. What's the word called for that type of phrase? There's a word for it when a phrase says the same thing twice. Anyway...

Yesterday I got a Christmas Card. It had a return address from someone I did some side work for earlier in the year. I thought, "Boy, he's being awfully friendly when he owes me money!" LOL!

Then I opened it up and there was a beautiful card and an enclosed check for the balance due along with a note to apologize for the delay.

See how nice some people can be?

Oh what a Merry Christmas card I perceive
not bouncing!

I'll take that drink! And toast a cheer to your well earned and deserved just desserts.
Much better than the cheque's in the mail!

:D
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

Hi A! Great to see you... it's been a while. I read a couple of your entries in the Jam... you cracked me up! (as always)

Hope all is well with you! ... Hope you're enjoying the holidays!
