Armazao-Campeche & Campeche-Armazao some hours later. I loved that and also was happy to be on land again!!!!!
wow! thanks!
my goodness, i get a sense of the immensity of that body of water
do i need to get a map?
and those rolling clouds
quite magnificent!
the boats and people would inspire an artist
wwhich is what you are!
they should make this guy smiling

so, it was not enough, eh??
the island of Florianópolis in the south of Brazil has a wide range naming beaches: from Armazao to Barra da Lagoa, to Pantano do Sul, to Cachoeiras, to Ponta das Canas, to Ingleses, to Canasvieras (where was our pousada), to Mole, Joaquina, Mozambique, Brava, Santinho ... and more... they are all so beautiful in different ways!!!!!!. There are also Armazao-s in Azores (from where maybe some ancestors of the sailman in the photo & most of the fishermen of the zone came from -to hunt whales as a basic activitiy- and there are other ones near Buzios and Bahia. And Campeche is not a mexican state, maya´s land of serpents & garrapatas in Yucatán but a delicious small island near Florianópolis!
I also took misty arrozales´s photos near dawn after a night of rain (it rained very little in my trip but it was near then when I took the photos I liked the most this time!). I thought while taking them in my grandmother´s born-land very near there, somewhere beyond the sierras filled with cafetales instead of arrozales. I´ll post them later, oddly they gave me a kind of southeast asian feeling instead of an african one or american one, maybe you´ll like them jimbo!
