Mendoza in august!
I´ve been there for the first time in winter (the other times were in october and january).
We were three days on the long weekend of the 17th: saw fires drawing the perfil of the sierras in San Luis, arrived at night with zonda blowing at 140 km per hour (second zonda I´ve been through but this one wilder even in the relatos of the locals), some of us seeing & feeling snow falling for the first time (so different from the fridge-like ice in the top of mountains in summer!), inmersed in termal waters and at the end of the three days enjoying the wide sky in vine lands.
I was dubious to join the trip this time, because I was somehow trapped in the middle of post-influenza-school-educational-fever, but I did it anyway (last week of course was a little mad at work, but it ended peacefully).
some of the photos I took, enjoy!
