Forget it feather breath.
I would rather live in a hollow log and drink muddy water than live with a cat again.

Did you know a cat can kill a copperhead. A friend of mine took a picture of her cat in battle with a copperhead. Amazine picture.

ah well
not like my friends did not try to warn me it wouldn't work out.

I wish I had used a picture of sylvester but I did not think of him till now.

I used to love that cat when I was a kid, I was always rooting for him to get tweety. I was a weird kid.

thanks for the poem.

Pardon me for being so Freudian but you seem a little ambivelant about birds.

To combat Freudian ooze you might try writing with a quil.

Bad day, November 22, 1963, orange tabby named Dennis. A great cat spirit. Still think about him now and then. Run over by a taxi. I cried for him that day, or maybe it was economy of effort, I cried for so many reasons that day.

Les Paws a siamese, I got to find a doodle of him by my brother, the greatest doodle artist I know. I was going to post it to terri's cat art but forgot.

ten four, economy of effort.

I was at my grandmother's house one day when she dropped a flower pot and got so upset with herself she started crying. Just then my dad came by and she went out to meet him with tears in her eyes, he had an operation for cancer a couple of weeks before. And she said "oh mike I was so worried about you I was crying." On the way home I told him why she was really crying and he said, "economy of effort"

.

i've lived with many cats. the more i interact with mammals the more i'm convinced that we are basically the same across the board. the cats were not my pets - they were my associates.

I realize now that I was also crying for my dad that day. Took me years to mourn his death

All hell broke loose that day. Emotions bottled up for years broke lose. I think the word is abreaction.

I have always considered cats as roommates not pets. I feel the same about my dog.
