I'm Henry the 8th, I am... NOT!

I'm Anniefay. I haven't been around for a long time but I missed my friends here and found a day I wanted to just check in and found myself happily browsing through the posts. It's good to see you all again.

For all those I haven't met yet, Hi! It's great making your acquaintance. I used to write some but life threw me some curve balls and my time for that just stopped. It's all leveling off now and I'm hoping to once again enjoy the creative process. I have missed it. I'm an old gal; worn but still useful. Hope to see you around.

hi anniefay - so good to see you.
hope you're surviving a freezing winter (rumour has it that it's cold).
if so, what's going on? What's new?

Nearly buried in white fluff

Post by anniefay » January 28th, 2009, 9:39 am

It's been an unusual winter. Last week I'd heard we already were 26 inches of snowfall over the average for the entire season. Everyone just wants it to stop, but alas! this morning more snow. I really felt bad until I saw how many problems this storm is causing in areas south of us and I just had to quit whining. For us it's just a few more inches of white stuff and we can just suck it up, clean off the car (or try) a dozen times today and get about our business.

Nice to see you here. Hope things are safe and well with you there.

Hi anniefay! good to see you again! Hope you'll stop by more often!

Wow, you sure have had a lot of snow! I'm sitting here looking at 2 inches outside and an ice storm on top of that worried about traveling the back roads today. But what we have is nothing compared to what you're describing. Stay warm and dry.... and remember.... spring is coming soon.
