Back in action!

Post by .Lucy. » May 27th, 2009, 12:02 pm

Hello again my old friends!

Better known in my college days as Gothic-Hippie-Chic and as Lucy! here on Studio 8, I decided to come back ninja-style and see how all of your were doing!

I've been in a particularly creative phase lately and realized I've been missing the wonderful sharing of ideas with all of you on here. It's been quite some time...

How are all of you groovy cats?

-Lucy

it is good to see you here at Doreen's Tea party.

Random poem of the day:
Tea at Rachel Varnhagen's

Currant bread and current affairs
Strong Assam and rooms hazy with words
Beauty and brain not a contradiction in terms
Salons where male and female minds
Shamelessly mated on plush ottomans
Where sensuous mouths dared breathing hard truths
Where strong wills fearlessly bowed to the
Ingenious stroke of a feathery well-kept hand

I can relate, I always said life is pack of cards & being the lost joker. You never to fit in but always in the way................That is okay because who wants to be another "high card"? When your life explains itself it is adventure but when you have to explain yourself to life you may have made a wrong turn. I don't know what I'm saying it just seems fit to be tied on. Anyways in my 27 years the best thing i learned is don't blame the world for shortcomings we are totally in charge of destiny just have to jump some hurdles. In the end my solution is always been a reggae drum and an anthem for my working class non contribution "to ensure i can pay bills and look handsome" like a good ol texas boi.I am responding to LUCY! I hope my ranting isn't offensive your words are very powerful, but I csn't define my own statements with someone else's words.Oh yeah what am I difining?
