...I said, but then the doctor snipped my umbilical cord, slapped my butt and handed me to my mother. My first ta-da! moment cut sadly short, and my only recompense a shiny 1958 quarter scotch-taped over my healing USB port.
So it goes.
Taoist in outlook, Monkey persona; my totem is Turtle, and my given name is Mike when I give it. I'm probably the opposite of an action poet, tho I am quite bendable just the same.
Personal trivia: I'm learning to play the banjo, which seems to be re-wiring my brain and I hope that all comes out OK in the end. It looked easier than learning Mandarin and more useful than Esperanto. Plus chicks dig that plunking sound.
Nice to be here, and I love what you've done with the place, Miz D (and your avatar is da bomb). Nice to see so many of the AC folks that I admire here as well.

thanks so much, Doreen, I will post something soon.
I've loved the banjo for a long, long time (the Beverly Hillbillies were in prime time when Earl Scruggs knocked me over). And I kept saying 'one of these days, when I have time, I am going to learn to play'. I finally realized that I was never gonna have time, so I had better make time while I still had time. It's difficult (for me anyhow) but very satisfying.
