the Kung fu t.v. priest rages into the night.....3x the ambulance rolls towards oblivion...2x in the last year, hard headed fool not seeing the signs, or was it just to late to feel em.....maybe too much wishin and hopin at the bottom of it...ridin that road seeing it all slip away, little by little it starts to sink into that hard head of yours....no, no you gotta rage against the darkness of the mind, a clouded spot upon the cerebellum where there is no return....yet there is no return for any of us.....just acceptance that's the key .....face reality and the way thru suffering....it's inevitable in this journey to the other side......

I once drank saki on its homeground. The aftertaste didn't sit well with me, made me yearn for a good bourbon. I was surprised because of all the things I have learned from Japanese poets and their poems. I guess I was hoping everything would translate but it didn't.
