I built it right here
out of momentary thoughts ...

I found a small doll figure that had been forgotten, left behind by the hurried on their way home - I took it apart
arms
legs
torso
head
placing the parts in different locations around the room -
the head, with its long blond hair, I balanced up on a curtain rod over the window in the corner where the pictures of
the ancestors are

We are the lawful property of the ground - dust to dust

Reality is not something whose nature is up for debate, reality is a prison sentence where we grace ourselves with the notion of freewill to pass the time -

river at flood stage
snow gone
no green grass yet
a winter's worth of trash
in roadside ditches

...also seriously disturbed over the "treatment" of my beagle -

Galilean shibboleth ? Holy ?
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

...also seriously disturbed over the "treatment" of my beagle -
amber alerts for me have not figured out if I should turn them off or not
got 2 cell phones and a cell watch. They go off in triptych every day
adrenaline rushes keep me on edge>sorry to hear about your dog .

Galilean shibboleth ? Holy ?
Lutheran pietist philosopher Johann Georg Hamann wrote these priceless Christian words: "The more . . .

sorry about user name forgot to log out from another thread.
I never heard of him before today
he had a lot to say about the public use of free will and reason
called it a sumptuous dessert . Hard to argue with that.

one more thing I forgot to Ragu™
"free will is a talking point" saw

for a long time I believed in "the reality principle"
wanted so much to be adjusted
to be part of the Pepsi™ generation

I read hesse steppenwolf
when I was in my early twenties
did not get it till I read it again fifty years later
so these days it is sink or swim

:D for this thread, thank you for starting it.

I wish Jimboloco and LightningRod could join us. I think Dino would if he could.
Our Pips,
I used to call my dead friends Pips, my backup chorus now they are looking more like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir

... a sort of atavistic remnant, a romantic shred, a soulful Pithecanthropus erectus.
- Tropic of Cancer - Henry Miller

Found myself at a strange juxtaposition last evening - it was like this, I was stuffing a pad of steel wool into a rathole in the bedroom wall just after dropping a fat block of rat poison into the opening - bon appetit, motherfuckers, doing all this when I noticed Merle Haggard singing on Pandora - I feel like Captain Jack Sparrow sometimes, staring into that damn compass -

walking after midnight out to the dock of the bay and wondering, after all these years, why I still know all the words to the Soft Parade -

Every once in awhile I experience a strong pang of nostalgia for my slut red '67 Barracuda - I want it back and pointed out toward any road (northern Arizona comes to mind) my hand on the wheel, cup of coffee, CCR's Green River on the cassette deck -

... especially when I find myself at strange juxtapositions in the golden yrs dropping rat poison down holes like a surrealistic Nazi dream of Dolly Parton walking down a street in Nashville leading an amusement park on a leash -

Thx, Jack, for the thoughts on my beagle - appreciate it

psych exp UofMD fifty years ago back when they could still screw with the student subjects thinking and emotions. That's why they stopped using white rats :)

so I am thinking about one exp involving small etectric shocks to the subjest
one student a woman from South East Asia managed to tolerate shocks that were off the dial. Dr Von Hellsing asked her how she managed to stand that much pain.

her answer
"I took myself away"

kind of weird flow I got going here I get to the bottom of text box and then have to scroll down to see where I have left off in your text box

No worries on that account, Jack, this is the Z and can't be damaged or improved by morals or ethics - you ought to see the river this morning - I watch this river go up and down following the seasons and whims of weather but today it is UP UP UP - rises any further it will top the bridge - it's only a couple of feet down from the my little side deck - eating away at the banks -
if they collapse not only will the deck go but the whole east end of my camp here will end up flushed downstream towards Lake Ontario - Bye-bye Baby -

rain/snow rain/snow snow/rain for days ... I always forget how long the process is for spring to kick in up here - sure the snow is gone but that don't mean you can just go ride -

Came across a vid this morning on TubeYou - just this guy talking about his bike, no blare or anything - the guy cracked me up -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkB4ggj8k_8

I ride for the joy of it and if it keeps me above ground too all the better -

I have a hard time riding for joy these day
listen don't let me rain on your parade
It is good for me to know you have joy in it.

That's not what motivates me to ride, oh sure there is joy in it when I finally get my ass on the seat and road and the motion I am happy as a clam
but what gets me out the door is
"you stupid son of bitch you want to take insulin injections" as if my life is not complicated enough. This tax season is killing me, never going to do this again. I HOPE :!:
Got so bad I had to buy an electric tooth brush because I can hardly find time to do all the maintenance on this ape body I inhabit. Love that tooth brush runs for months on a single AA battery, got a two minute timer on it. At first I was too in a hurry to let go till it stopped but a couple days ago I said the hell with this. I am going to stand here and brush teeth till it turns off. Take two minutes out of my manic day and chill, call it dental zen, So I brush and brush and brush thinking about Zuihitsu
and what you wrote and I wrote and we all wrote

. a sort of atavistic remnant, a romantic shred, a soulful Pithecanthropus erectus.

Only read about half of it. I stopped because it was too good. That makes sense, right? I used to call myself Crazy Jack, picked up from my father who called himself Crazy Mike.
Miller is a genius, I will never be a fraction of the writer he was.

something screwed up on my browser when I click on the last page the first page always shows as the last post. I have to change the shuffle from subject time to post time ascending.
" paper will burn, star crossed"
BUT i like it, kind of keeps a focus on this for me.

I don't know what I just did, I think I rambled with bunch of irrelevant biographical details

Love being near the water even with the risks
lonely for a river a lake ocean
mother mother ocean
amniotic fluid is sea water I have read
liked the video a lot—guy was having fun 8)

Zuihitsu

....everything, that's Z.......a potpourri of writing, maybe that's the best way to splain it to Lucy .....jammin by bob Marley comes on tunes here, "Irie!!!"....now that's good classic 8)
coffee's good this morn.......thinking back on the 80s now......it all went wrong when the slick just say no shit started.....'twas the end of funky.....the disco daze and punk wasn't all that bad, but the great communicator took the bullshit to a whole new level......nuff said, it's all ancient history now, now, now......

crying spilled milk
on beatific sunny day
futility incarnate

....haiku style....Ryokan.....Basho......Shiki......even Jack with his American haikus 8) .....red red wine on the tunes takes me back to my honeymoon in cape hatteras with Carole Jean .....
man was I way in over my head, woah....that period of my life is definitely a huge story that I'll have to write out of me to understand it all some day.....I'm still reeling from that period of my life, perhaps I'll never understand that time frame.....needless to say it was a wild ride....

serene ocean
a fool jumps in, splash!
confusion abounds
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....
