Yes you are right about the smoke,
going to pholoshop that stored image, a crumb of happiness in my little neuro museum of life. Smoke cleared now the air in the little bar in the basement of the rosevelt hotel is cool and fresh, the smoke was poor choice of words, mauzy, a mauzy trippy kind of night there was a stand up base, piano and a flute.

A Dark days in baltimore the summer of the MLK infatada. I used to walk there some nights, twenty blocks from North Charles to The Camden Yards. I was pretty far gone in those days, hardly awake at all, but I did feel alive that night, young and in the city, Thirty seven years ago, typical geezer memory, don't ask if I remember what I had for lunch today.
