I don't go in much for mysticism
astrology is pretty much lost on me
I don't believe in seances or ouija boards,
crystals or channeling.

but fortune cookies are sort of like
the culinary i-ching
completely random

I have this one taped to my monitor:

"With integrity and consistency--your credits are piling up."
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

The Poet's Eye

Your life is like a fortune cookie fortune

You never know what you're gonna get

But one thing is for certain

It'll make non sense!

I should write fortune cookie fortunes!

Eat this fortune cookie and you will soon meet a tall dark and handsome stranger.....

He'll be performing the heimlich manoeuver!

or

You will soon learn how to spell maneuver, maneuvre, manouvre, manmoveover, manyouver, manewwwwver....very, very soon.

…Deb, checking who posted, then double checking … then replying…

Oh ~ Hi Doreen, I completely agree! Fortune cookies are the culinary version of the I-ching. What I love about this one is, it implies that if you get to know me ~ you’ll end up abnormal … like me! And, I love it.

… Doreen; l-Rod; others; noticing who she’s replying too … go back and looking again … wondering…scratching their heads…

!!! We interrupt this wondering of ”what the hell is wrong with her…!” moment with an explanation; which just so happens to be from today’s comics….

~ahhhhhhhhhh~

… relished by the wisest men (yes); and women …
and mice, as well!

i open imaginary fortune cookie
(empathetic dining)
'you will live long life and meet many friends'

i promise myself to keep fortune in a safe spot
and on the way out, i realize it's gone

what did it say?
doesn't matter - it's bound to pop up again next time i dine in my mind

i alwayz thought my sisters were weird until i got into nursing and found out they were irritated with young jimboloco.

women are kool. what this has got to do with fortune kooks i don't know, but i've consulted the i ching a couple of times,
once when contemplating a move, i saw the people around me in sacred terms,
ever been there, so terrified that essential safety is the most important thing?

most of our choices are above that level, somehow.
