Porch swinging
Poetry singing
Thoughts slinging
Thru to the other side
Perishable
Unbearable
Lightness of being
As if it all were just a dream
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

page 300
on we go poetry
soldiers
we march to that beat
you know the one
see my brain
on screen, an xray
of a mad web spinner
diary of a lunatic
here to evaluate
from here to eternity
or at least
until Doreen gets tired of us
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

I'll never get tired of you guys.
We could go to 1000 pages.
The software might break one day,
though, and for that I'll feel sorry.

workin' on a 13 year jam
aged like merlot of thought
a cheddar for the poetic soul
chug-a-lugga ding dong
drink it down like a thirsty cog
feel the rumble in the reflection
jamma-a-lamma sing song
day after daze, nights all alone
with a keyboard and a glass
sad, sweet, angry, elated
with notes of woody imagination
hints of planetary inspiration
ah yes a fine concoction indeed
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

perpetual jam is a long haul
a billion miles of cyberbtes
from east to west
north ta' south
above and below
just keeps going
turning spinning typing
on on on and on
we be in it for the long haul
cause if you ain't jamming gears or words or guitars or paint brushes or singing and most of all dancing.
well you ain't know where
just hanging out in limbo waiting for
a bang or a wimper
hell I can't fake a pose because jamming is a Turing test for me.
am I or am I not
jamming ?
If you can't give me love and peace, Then give me bitter fame. — Akhmatova.

this keyboard is a steering wheel
as I head out on the cyber road
the text box I am looking through
is a windshield as the jam / road unwinds before me

makes me want t rock and roll
as i listen to as I type

Juan Valdez walks
on the foreheads of the fathers
but I thought his mule
was named Matilda Honeybean
but that could be
a piece of oral history

early rain swallowed the pollen
the air was sweet and green
the rocks were wet and striated
my heart ached too long for a return
the valleys were mysterious
the rise was therapeutic, lungs
and muscles thanking me for trying
a few happy sunday voices wafted
through the sparse leaves like music
over water
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

I mean if we can't lift, inspire, console reach out to our friends what are we doing here.

I come to enjoy, occasionally rant, sometimes ramble meaninglessly, sometimes write something I like

Sometimes I open a text box to post a replay
spend what seems like an eternity staring into the black screen waiting for fingers to start pushing that blinking vertical line across the textbox, window, page
the cursor blinks fingers motionless and the thought comes to mind "I got nothing" so beat a retreat and close out the textbox. Happens more on the Haiku board than anywhere else. Haiku a leap of faith for me.

I heard of hai-cant
this is GO-easy
and jam

it's so easy
i pinch myself
it seems too good to be true

yes I do

thanx for the kind words , the details...things spill out unexpectedly most days in ways that often are surprising to me later on the next day when I read them....I try not to overthink, & let the fingers go where they want to...glad you're around to contribute to this big beautiful mess here at S8... :D
