my energy ain't so youthful
but my spirit is ever stronger
i am learning concentration
and mindfulness
and know the difference
i am paying a lot more attention now

your head is annointed with oil
in thhe presence of your enemies
but i also pray for them
and for a way through to peace
and i know this will happen

otherwise it is you
who fly me
to da moon
and takes me
to da stars

Spirit is willing,
even in mission scrub's mind,
blast off for the nebulae within,
meandering meteor metaphors,
energy matters, youth of wonder,
no matter in space, reflections new,
and light may outrun a twinkle...

beyond abort

flowing on down to th underground stream
unto a fountain a desert stream
down the mountain to canyon below
a pool of water oasis of green
ten feet beneath th desert's heat
th light brilliant white at canyon's wall
step out into space and build a fire
driftwood flames that warm the stars
and rest in peace
restore thy soul
and wake to know there is something more
beyond that distant canyon floor
green meadows above
the other side
a windy gap
a place to bide

took 88 weeks to get to know you
living on the edge
we made this connection for a reason
our energies in synch
from distant horizons
far yet near
the first miricle
there will be a transformation
it will happen
i am renewing
like cell division
staying straight
a prayer for wisdom
baltimore will come to town
tale of two cities
each in flux
shadows and light
gaza and negev
each in stasis
will be an opening
not for rehabilitation
until the time is ready
