thinking about giving this a rest
rest in peace
my litterary ambitions
to make money from writting
to make money from music
to make money from the practice of medicine

is there a diference
right lively hood
maybe I have to examine my protestand work ethic
Still trying to understand
but I respect that some here take writting more seriously than I do

yeah no where to hide when you GO live
your scroll backwords and wince
when the truth hits your eye like a big pizza pie

I am still crazy
money talks
bullshit walks
this is really about my experience at lit kicks

I wanted to be a paperback writer.

now I just want ta jam till the cows come home
and stay up a little longer
jam my life away
in perpetuity

rest in peace ron ray
you left a few friends
who will always hear you

been a while since stevie died. I wrote a snippett for his daughter maybe a eulogy.

I am goiwing to bow down and worship a librariar, a muscian, an artist and a poet, and a teacher

do I have a beat
is there a song in there
for the people who have given so much
and got so little

life and death always on my mind
we all got so old
that old gang of mine
standing on teh corner of Collington Ave and Baltimore street
"we were rough and ready guys
but oh how we could harmonize." four tops?

"lies all lies
I am a truck
I own you"SP

I am down on my luck
and I cant harmonize
my graduation class four hundred people
Mr Trainor our music teacher was rehearsing us for the commencement exercises. After about a week of trying to get me to sing in tune or time with everyone else he finally told me to just lip synch. He must have bodaciaous hearing because every once in a while he would stop us and say, TIlles are you singing again.

gimme me a beat boys to free my sould
go goin gone submit>

I got the quote about the truck owning me wrong
it is from an Anne Sexton poem, When Jesus Suckled, I think I read some where it is a bad poem. A website called when bad poetry happens

Sexton dismissed
but I was happy to see
litkicks included her in the top ten list.

oh well
It was a long Sunday. worked the grave yard shift
but I got a nap
Still I feel I can sleep the just

funny what a poem can do
first read it on the east coast one winter on cape cod
no not cape cod, a small town outside of Boston
Revere beach. Loved that cold ocean beach
Never forget pickles
and the Ship WReck salon
pretty woman
but you she was twenty nine years old
and she got dumped by her longtime boyfriend
the one she dumped her husband for
the boy friend dropped her for a later model

she found me at the Ship Wreck saloon
I was the most rediculous man she could find
she was out for revenge
and I was in love
short romances seemed to be my speciallity
back then

in the mellow morning light coming through the frosted windows from the atlantic sunrise
I turned to her and smiled "good morning"
And she said "your an ass hole"

I feel like fangio
at the end of his career
"it is finished"

even so
it was a very good year for big city girls.

Indeed. planet seems to be shrinking, or is that my imagination?

Maybe the world is shrinking
Surely I am shrinking

You read a poem
then thirty years go bye
just like that

and one day you wake up
and realize you never really read it at
all
"I am a truck I own you"
so true

She had a book of poetry
Anne Sexton

I can still remember the sweet feel of her inner most self against my penis
And the poem still lingers with me

this all happened in 1974
The year I fucked a black widow spider

and I did not know then
my love life was over

I had discovered where babies come from
Nothing like an abortion to kill a romance

this is all good
good for me

I am rock
I am an island

Preacher Jack
Ship Wreck Saloon
ring any bells

How many more years
will this lonely life keep dragging on

I can't wait to get started again
But I go to play this hand out

It is the only game in town.

harmonica flow
pushing....driving
across the great
divide
her with the
kitty cat voice
me with my harp
pushing
jamie on claves
"wings of the moth
give me strength
belly of the butterfly
allow me to love"

It is a small world
She could read this some day
She was not a black widow spider
She was a beautiful and kind woman
Was? I hojpe she still is.

The only black widow was my drug crazed hallucination
That cause me to bliss out and lose the condom
To her pain and suffering.

A go is not just happy thoughts
A go is not just beautiful images
A go is life
Life is a GO
My go is in the wind
A silent wind
that blows no ryme nor reason
Just these words
marching to a different drummer
"What would you do if I sang out of tune"
