I am a silly silly old fool
frozen in thought
ah but
the blessed stops
I live for those moments

overlooked and hardly aware
fleeting samādhi

Nashville 1974
jitterbug making an audition take, he sounds so scared, I can't say about the music but I dig the lyrics.

Up is my Natural State of Mind

I dig it here in the slow lane of studio eight
nothing much ever happens here among a small circle of friends

watched a couple games
I root against the Ravens and Colts,
just contrarian be coz the way the teams are bought and sold,
I must be autistic or something, the ravens are still the Cleveland browns
But I got over the Orioles being the St Louis Browns, go figure :?

I am a green bay packer fan these days
all the little babies get green and yeller blankies when they born, nobody can take that away, the community owns the team. They don't need no stinking Wall Street Banksters.

Hell it's only a game
I am always cheering Johnny U
He opened a bowling alley with Edgar Allen Poe

cold tonight down around twenty eight
got to jam just to stay warm

happy to see you back
I had hopes of seeing Clay
but I have nailed my shoes to the kitchen floor

i guess i am just too lazy for facebook
glad to know you been having fun there.
thank you for the beautiful picture of CJ and also the art.

Thinking about a bit Vonnegut wrote about The Mona Lisa
"Rumfoord had known that Constant would try to debase the picture by using it in commerce. Constant's father had done a similar thing when he found he could not buy Leonardo's 'Mona Lisa' at any price. The old man had punished Mona Lisa by haveing her used in an advertising campaign for suppositories. It was the free-enterprise way of handling beauty that threatened to get the upper hand." 4 AM a serene scene in F rock 8)
thanks for the photo, looks like home to me
reminds me of those old gas streetlamps glowing in the fog on Caroline Street the wet cobble stones, the railroad tracks glisten, Fog Horns

RE:Late
That was what used to kill me about trucking— how the hell can a body be late at four o'clock in the morning?
L.A. is the only city I know where rush hour begins at three AM.

Got dam bucket lists, I hate that term.
I want to see Clay, I think I could get a way for a day, a long day five hundred fifty mile round trip and a couple hours there and come home. I want to know what is going to happen to his stuff, a lot of his music is here on studio eight, but his other web sites I don;t know. I went to one and it is was 404.

If u free yerself unto it
the jam only gets better and better
There's action poetry, but it ain't sticky
no mo, not without interaction
Why do I care?
Maybe cause it used to be so cool
Like we was on to something new.....
