i've been a sleep-walkin' misfit,
missed by resistance and lack of humor,
fueled by a crowded planetary
i-don't-even-know-what's lacking-or-wanting,
a sudden crash landing on encapsulated crimes
without lawyers or dimes
hammers send fast fasts
without tears to melt steal bars
because judges cannot see
bizarrities of the less familial
hunger or regulated modes
i've been a somnomulist dancin' with janis
on stage, the rage i made, her boa in a tress
and i yet i dress like a derelict, holes in my knees
from kneeling

and my hunch is that no
one here is watchin' dialing
for dollars, the delivery man
did not leave a notice, and
the lady who ran the cafeteria
whined about the coffee spilt
on the floor, butterflies flutter
moths do too, can anyone see

in the big picture, miniscule
