About the ~GO! forum Word Jams

Word Jams are spontaneous original bursts of poetry - one leading to another.
We link to one another through instinctual, intuitive, flowing thought.

Please, jam to the words of your heart. If you find another's words in your mouth, that's cool! But, jam does not entail only posting another's words.

posting another's poem in its entirety without any of your own play, is called copy/paste. this is not jam, nor the essence of jam. If you feel that poem to be a legitimate response to another's original beat and words, then take a bit, a sentence and play it your way.

Jam is original spontaneous art. It is not a place to showcase your favourite poem of another poet.

its green beans
and silent exchanges
a look explains everything
its you its me
its infinity in a glance
it may not mean the same thing
but its pure
a connection without need of speaking
outside of time

digest
its the readers
and who they wish to portray
could be good
could be hatred unmasked
no matter your religion
no matter your belief
humanity is guilty
of hate unrequited
man is small
man is weak
man follows the leader
no matter how base
man knows not what it does
man is nothing without other than
god is just a way to let it all be
children raped....question
just apart of civilized living
so they say
i deny you
and your ways
you are what is wrong
death to the enablers
a child is
a child is worth more than all adults
that have ever lived
bow your heads and cry
know that you have sinned
beauty within the pure
those that do not do for themselves
just to do it
your ignorance betrays you
you selfishness paints you
you can not hide
you are
it is just the way of things
can you justify
can you say that you have tried
no
you are worthless
your whole endeavor is failed
your ideas are corrupt before begin
can you even pretend to justify
only if able to enjoy hate of ones self

I spelled spontaneity wrong
I been thinking
maybe I should have been drinking

Oh well typos are par for the course on this board.
Wondering why a poet would post a brilliant carefuly crafted poem to this board and not Creative.

To start the give and take of a spontaneous exchange?

still-t's right. just now read what revolutionrabbit or r.r. just said about his 'z poem' and other unnamed pieces.
works from the past. not so much a ~Go concept but rather a creative writing.

Thing is that r.r. is a ~Go kinda guy.
so let's ~Go with it

oh i see... well i don't think it matters

i remember on action poetry on litkicks, i used to post lots of old poems ... it starts stuff off ... people start jamming to it

and they jam and go on the creative board too in response to other people's writings

poetry is poetry... let it fall where it may

:)
