world equinox is swimming along
circling the sun
around venus' orbit
perfect concentric circles
in a plane around the solar system
speeding through an immense space
all around
lucky we don't all fall off
lucky we've got this orb on a 23 degree tilt
as we go about about our immense lives learning humbleness

good to step back and realise where we are
and be glad we have an equinox to remind us
there's something greater at work in all this
spinning lucid green septembers
with crisp dry septembers
into a loom of karmic intent
indra's web and ebb and flow

meanwhile the galaxy shines brightly
and souls wonder what immense plan
with mathematical exactitude
let the spinnings take us all
together in delight in the infinite night
with stars and moons to guide the way
on our journey together through the universe
on our blessed world in the milky way galaxy
a cosmic spiral a spinner's sacred thread
