The Beat Face of God
(The Beat Generation as Spirit Guides )

st. Jack's light is burning bright tonight
like a big old head light
He loved them crazy truckers
balling the jack
rolling down a highway, moving the closest feeling to being free he knew
For me too

them days are gone for me
living with them forlorn rags
but I can survive with the illusion
Of Go
hammer down on my keyboard
makes me feel like I am on the open road again.

Roll on
2010
deflated
inspired
clear
clean
crazy
blessed
cursed
ha!
ten thirty pm
on a june night
in the year of twenty ten
and I am beat
looking forward
looking backward
I notice that i am still trying to get someplace but I don't know where
the days of my life slip away
one by one
tomorrow tomorrow
be another day of living
Hard to look too far down that road
Just give me tomorrow and the day after that
every day is a gift

Good night old friend
They Were Seeking a Gospel

equinox time again for a week or so
it's a new day~star under our nose
behind the veil beyond the sky
a star is shining upon us all
go outside enjoy a star today
take a ride on mother earth

no wonder the roman catholics feared gallileo
they were afraid of the change in consciousness
the sun in the sky was always known for comfort
we live on a bed of earth and the sky is a canopy above
not a bed of earth close up to a star no that is scary indeed

welcome to the day~star la estrella del día
another mother to keep us warm
on our mother bed of earth
as men rule in violence
slow to learn

when we are ready the teachings are all here

the first prophet was kwan yin asian woman
holy woman of compassion teaching the way of the tao
then came the first man, buddha, who rejected his polythiest hindu confusion
he put it all down because of misinterpretation of scripture and ongoing evil
he attained a state of clarity beyond beneath intellectual irrationality
then came the four prophets of the abrahamic patriarchs
not patriarchs themselves but leaders and ministers of the Spirit living on
with a clear message of returning to the source time and again
and when we have done thhis and in fact survived our apocalypse
there will appear another holy woman, maietreia
who will congratulate us and bind us together
at the table 2 ladies 5 gents 7 in all just like that!

welcome to the day~star may she guide us forevermore
all us beat malcontents living off th land as tho
blessed to receive and become mmore alive than had heretofore been expected
disembbodied comin together i'm a ladies man in 2010 with real men around this scene it's beat
i mean i love my wife it's 2010 seize the millenium shining star shine on
i am wailing at the wall in jerusalem!

Jamming

Post by Steve Plonk » July 1st, 2010, 5:40 pm

Jamming: "Jammin' a-Jammin' Jammin' a-Jammin'
I like de jammin', too...
Jammin' a-Jammin' Jammin' a-Jammin'
I like jammin' with you..." --Bob Marley & the Wailers

So let's get up on our jammerators and jam out some
word jammin' that will curl the toenails of the world...
With our freak flags unfurled, dark shades on,
With our hats tipped at a jaunty angle,
We head on down the highways of ether, in an old red caddy,
Into the unknowns of a new day, in a new month,
Of a new decade...Waxing biblical...
"Behold", said the Lord, "I make all things new,
and now all the former things are passed away..."
Somewhere else in the Bible is "I am the alpha and the omega..."
Could be Revelations, I am quoting. yessiree...
So, kind folks & gentle people, keep flowing as you're going...
Turn a new loving page in the book of your lives...

"free read, even the Revelations"
it can be a good slogan
(at least for today)

now i got holy books galore in 2010
sporting a koran and bible too
reading a book by a disillusioned lady
karen armstrong even knows from whence
came abraham and also knows
into the polytheist religions of babylon
order out of primal matter
out of the muddy mesopotamia
we evolved our creative mania
snakes live in us
they like to sing
they like the vibes of heavy
still beat july 2010
you jammers are magic fools
lift me up even when down is up
oh yeah i got an invite for a duo
comedians sit down stand up routine jwjw
this guy's a cornucopia of wit
mainstream popular cultural sitting encyclopedia
a sit down chair a stand down stool
revolution's in the air the snakeman slide

I been carrying Revolution Rabits novel around with me like a holy book

My holy books keep me wondering
How do I know
the Bible tell me so
Friday and I am calling out G-d
And wondering what it is

Too wonderful
too terrible
makes me want to hide

From the illustrated book of genesis
R. Crumb
I have heard that the beatniks were looking for a Gospel
just a little good news mister
if you can spare a dime
or the time

help i fell off
hanging on by a fantasy
til the world turns upright again

lightness of being
mark of the beast all around
picking up my puppet strings

summertime blues
and the living is spaced
between confusion, sadness,
tenderness, impossible strenght
finding new meaning in nothing

i like colors arranged in patches
playing light games
with anger and fear

The world is so "spankedelic" that it needs a-talking to...
So I keep these cards flowing into the pit of the continuummmmmmmm...
The sum is more than these here parts... So keep the beat flowing,
Let the drums, etc. keep rolling, and let this grist keep sifting down from
The mill of my mind. We all be just the shards of stars & God fine tunes
This mess once in a while...gives us wake up calls and generally guides
Us with loving words...Thank you, Lord, 'cause I feel like a lucky human
being today..."Hello in there"...
