Dalinian Visions

[WIREMAN]

we drowned our
tears in thoughts
beneath that
old fungi tree
the whipporwill
moving all around
branch to branch
waiting for the
lost and found
one big chocolate
ball shroom laced
caused the skin to
percolate and grow
running around the
festival he exclaimed,
"I'm getting BIG!"
electronic music pushed
the Dalinian sights
when his eyes closed
there was no escape
for he was putty in
the fungi's clutches
a wise maiden
eased the angst as
she stroked his brow
for more than an eternity
he awoke mic in
hand to spy a
blue heron in the
tall marsh grass
feeding beneath the
early evening moon
all was well once again
on the banks of.......nevermore.
