scrambled
heat fan whirring
ravens
stole the ball
high fives all around
and smiles smiles
beef went down hard
rain came down hard
i recovered
still runnin
peepin n hidin
awoke to a msg
"2 free garden martinis for ya!"
what a wake up call
cafe rockin
gold mine
cold rain day
temps risin night
heats hummin though

eyes gettin heavy
stomach rumblin
jam on me!

To me, one of the quintessential "Palimpsests" is author Gore Vidal. I've read quite a bit
of his material...Gore Vidal mentioned that he wanted the above term placed on his
tombstone. He died on July 31, 2012 at the age of 86. Sorely missed by me & his other fans... His quips & stories will live on...

i remember vidal and william f buckley goin at it on tv circa late 60's....good stuff....interesting that he had an affair with anais nin and a night with jack kerouac
