anger
anger
anger
gets us as far as
the last time
the last war
the last upheaval
the last revilution
revilation
vission
and the masses keep it to a
nice lowest common denominator
could be me or you
depends who else is around

so be anger about
it
or let it go
and flow on the stupid
world boat's of fools
it is much much easier
I would love to just
play a computer game
or naw on a fucking bone
the pounding thought is a pain
and has slain all the thinkers in the world
but that is not what they are called the crazy and restless

and let the anger
roll you in to a roll and be eaten by happy
add ex's
and babies will point at your bloody angry dead carcus and
mother will cover thier eyes and
wait for the crys to subside
on the sunday morning

and knowing anger gives you nothing
so inject and drink and snort and watch and play and masterbate and keep on going as long as you don't think about it it is okay and the persure will not build in your skull and eyeballs and viens will not pop out in furiouse powerlessness over the things that casue anger in the world!
thus spoke G.A.P.

on this ship of fools.

who's more civilized?
we're more civilized
they can't reign in their god.
they let their god run wild
thru the streets of tehran,
thru the palaces of baghdad,
reign of holy terror,
crush the inferior.

deputies, deputies,
everyone's a deputy.
we got a million deputies...

who's more civilized?
they're more civilized.
we can't reign in our god.
we let our god run wild
thru the streets of kansas,
thru the palaces of d.c.,
reign of holy terror,
crush the inferior.

deputies, deputies,
everyone's a deputy.
we got a million deputies...

martyr and mercenary.
intifada, shock, and awe.
set them free with carpet bombs.
praise god and pass the chemicals.
we will save them with napalm.
praise be unto the highest,
unto the holy prophet
of peace.
amen.

a million years
to hone my tool

to scream and whine
a million foods

i got a million seasons
for every cause
a million muscles
for every loss
a million bullions
for every whore
a million bags
for every score
but i got modern plumbing
and my ass is clean
and i got some books
on which to dream
and i got a dictionary
to fix my rhymes
and i got a shoe
to store my dimes
and i got a thought
but not a gun
and i got a pen
but not a knife
and i got a rule
but not a wife
and i got a fix
but not a cure
and i got a brain
and it goes "whirr"
and if you step on my toe
i'll ask you please
to get your fat ass
off of my toe
cavemen lived in caves
thats all i know
call me a racist
call me a punk
call me a douchebag
call me a skunk
whatever, dude,

nobody in MY house
gets stoned
like that.
and knowing i'm so eager to fight cant make letting me in any easier.

rioting and
stoning in
my house
are met with swift
time-outs
(with no teddy bears
or thomas the train toys.
just sitting on the bed,
thinking
about
what
you've
done)
and knowing i'm so eager to fight cant make letting me in any easier.

anger
anger
anger
its kill or be killed on this ship of fools
Megalomaniac Captain
and a murderous crew
Next time
Next deluge
Next Holocaust
Like a dog returning to lick up its vomit
We don't remember a got dam thing
Birth and death and birth
from the craddle to the grave
Over and over
there is no exit
Unless you fing the holy grail
which is to live your own life
be your self
because your way is the only way
Listen to the music
For a heart stained in anger grows weak and grows bitter.
You become your own prisoner as you watch yourself sit there
wrapped up in a trap of your very own
chain of sorrow.
Rise above it or drown in your own shit

Nice work Geoff,

take a breather
don't panic
calculateing
it was just an open text box spontaneous ramble like this one
.A lesson in living

I nice brown turd laying on the living room rug
A strange feeling for a son to clean up his mother's shit.
As the ambulance leaves I think
How many times did she wifpe my dirty ass
I got a good teacher
I sat by her side and watched how she did it

I got God on my side
took a long look in the mirror
Don't expect to see nothing I can't handle
Don't worrry about it
Just a melancholy baby
a schmuck with a truck
If A coward dies a thousand deaths
I am going to have one hell of a mortuary bill.

That's what I've been told. I've been susceptible to tidal-wave threats in my lifetime, though lately, I survey the water below from my makeshift hillside overlooking the waves, and it usually makes no sense. But I'll admit that I'm afraid to go back down to my home on the shore. I should have never trusted the ocean.

A different take on anger is put forth by every hard-core artist who ever took up expression. I remember the Clash.... "the fury of the hour, anger can be power, don't you know that you can use it". And I remember how the Clash seemed to implode at some point, not so long after. R.I.P., Joe Strummer, by the way.
Rise above it or drown in your own shit.
Ok, now that happens to remind me of an old Funkadelic tune. I'll get back to you on that one....

yes I should have used quotations

maggot brain

Monet, Manet can't remember which one
"I can't paint anything until I want to strangle someone" quoted from memory

a long interesting poem by dor on the subject of anger and poetry.

yeah sublimation

I do not know how I have made it through this life of mine with killing anyone. Allthough I did grab my mother by the throat, back around 11/22/63

a long story
and I have posted it in bits and pieces

I do not make threats.

But I enjoy listening to people who do

Perezoso to LR, shut up or I will shut you up

One of my favorite recipients of the Darwin awards was the guy in the bar who said, "I am going to my car and get my gun"

Anger is human, so is fear. I am swamped in both these days, anger at myself and fear of remembering too much.

It is a wonderful feeling to be angry. A feeling of power.

I was thinking of the ship of fools manifesto by the mad bomber, Ted K, he nailed it, he had it right, too bad he was bat shit crazy. Thinking about Malcolm and the chickens coming home to roost, thinking about the King David Hotel

I like this bit from God Bless you Mr Rose water reminds me of some the life takers I used to truck with.

I do not think Vonnegut had to make up much of his war stories, fiction or not I think he was speaking from real life experience.
"This young captain I'm bringing home--he despises art. Can you imgagine? Despises it-and yet he does it in such a way that I can't help loving him for it. What he's saying I think is that art has failed him..."
Kind of reminds me of Perezoso talking about the death of poetry. Where is that guy, kind of miss him even though he had some kind of morbid fascination with my poor dear dead mother's anus.

let freedom ring from the purple mountains
let freedom ring from the fear fountain
let freedom ring from the sandy beach
let freedom ring from the buzzbomb speech
let freedom ring from all across the map
let freedom ring from the wire taps
let freedom ring from the harvest moon
let freedom ring from the oak boardrooms
let freedom ring from love and integrity
let freedom ring, as long as you a-greee....
