my watch is 2 hrs. early
these days, wound up tight
if you see some pre-mature scribblings
do not panic
do not fret

my time is a sandclock
over-duned
and under-fed

jam
me

my time clock stuck on
wired.....of course I
smile......no reason to ask
why?......telling tale of hearth
sittin' by the heater a drum
beater outer.....never a shouter....
yet loud......no microphone express
across the room....the words I say
up there on parade.....cyber jam does
come close.....just can't see the face
of the boast....some of you sit back
and toast.....sticking it on the post
yes the jams close......but ya can't beat
gettin' up in front of a crowd...and being
wired and loud.....words in yer mind runnin'
like waterfalls cross the air.....feeling for
which there is no compare.....words floatin'
out across the room......words improvise, ain't
no contest....ain't no race.....no winners.....nor
losers.......nah! just a constantly exploring the
word school here......you riff off me.....I'll bop
off you.....yeah I'll be wired and grabbin' instruments
all the while......and if ya take off you will fly....I tell
ya.......you will fly..........................................................................

fly with the wild-eyed crows
cawk and gawk at these messed up earth puddles
fields plowed, ready ya know
juss a few seeds
a rainfall
and growth bursts forth

a little love
a little time
and future unfolds in wild unpretension

real time
real blood lines
real padded feet

rhythmic heartbeat
fly?
i fly when i shuck my shell

crack me open
coke sits back a decade ago
whiff of guitar
and a window onto space

i fly through our mind
shake out the taste of yesterday -
curried now
on the house

house sits high...back deck wet
the promise of freedom today
shared creation....never a myth
and all that worrying bout election
control no mo....been sayin' it
everyday.....house sits high.....
back deck still bloomin'....colors
fall with a hint of wet....a sheen
gleened from dreams moist
and thoughts aquamarine visitor
plucked from the pearls of parlay
weighstation for the juiced....
control no mo.....house sits high...................
