Nice work artguy. I like your compostion. Thats a pretty big plywood panel how thick is it and what kind of plywood do you use? How do you prep it before painting?
Hi Garry, thanks. the plywood I have been using lately is 1/4" thick mahogany. I rarely ever treat, takes away from what the material is as the primer fills in the grain. As far as permanence goes. I have pieces over 20 years old that show no signs of age. I quite often use 3/4" plywood when I use my router on the piece. I have a web site that shows a number of those pieces.
