bird feathering

what if i like stars exploding inside my skin
would you contain me climbing in, drink my scream…

& if my seams unravel while i selfishly gather bird feathers for my soul
would you cup my face in your calm, roll me back into your arms…

& could you still love me then?
even if i'm me…or specially because

Quite a passionate entreaty you've conjured in art and word. Your poem reverberated in my mind like a poignant dream. The art was extraordinarily beautiful. I was enchanted.
