She was a stimulus package
charged a tax on friction
you can't believe the joy
when she put her hands in your pockets

a one-pocket job was cut-rate
but a two-pocket job
was higher than the unemployment rate
and if you wanted a real bailout it was more

she could jawbone the inflation rate
turn an erection to a market correction
she had an economy of her own
leave the money on the dresser

can't help but say, this reminds me of when I was 17, and
a little known hole-in-the-wall back alley bar in Houston....
