thursday
thunder clouds
evaporated in heat
and sky is a torrid
parched emptiness

the sun beating down
and i am
my last english student

for today just left
and i will now and then
dip myself into
the icy waters
once again

eat some cherries and
to imagine rain
and coolness
as if the mind perceives
the opposite of
how sometimes love
or simply a good day as
a walk in the rain together
