I once asked some people at another website what that whole shoes on the wire thing meant. Most everyone said, "gangsign," when my big brother told me when I was 5, the first time I ever saw it, something entirely different.

yeah, wired, i reckon the shoes-on-a-wire thing is probably seen hanging around most civilized places nowadays... we've really advanced as a people... shoes to signal our hang-ups for all to see.
barry... i really don't know what the deal is with the shoes other than knowing some folks actually get them to hang just right... not having tried it myself, i'm not sure i could do it without multiple attempts.
