Covert Operation

Burgundy sparkle reflected in her dark eyes
Their lives adrift in this culinary moment
Finding solace in falafel distractions
Slippery words spilled across the table
Stain the empty canvas
Of their virginal encounter
With first impression mirages
Glimmering across the linen table cloth ocean

He sets sail across her cryptic sea
Lost in Sargasso silence
Her face mimes emotions
Reticent gestures ebb into quiet
Of monastic reverie

Tectonic plates shift
Betwixt her hips
Her Olduvai Gorge quakes
With ancient fires brewing
Her furtive felicity
Divulged in devilish smile
Covert operation
Declassified

Saw, what a super cool observation. I guess I'm in good company. I'm not quite ready for the big time. But even to even be seen as having the remotest traces of those folks is way cool.
