I give your ability to portray the subject matter a positive.

However it's the subject I'm having a difficult time feeling comfortable with... "we're all cogs in the machine..." is disturbing.

awesome. it's like you can see right into my head

seriously, I dig it. to me the undefined, open space in the bottom corners juxtapose the heavy, massive gears above. gives me the feeling of an immense clockwork suspended above the ground. I like the interplay of light and dark and how the light falling on cogs and shafts shows a patina of rust. no precision mechanism here - this is the heavy, clanking, ponderous juggernaut that is the Industrial Age.
