and anxiously looks for her
she never has enough time
to hold her as often and as long
as she wishes she could
each time she sees her
she is more beautiful
she loves her smile
her laugh
how she plays
she loves her aunt

at this little human,
how she grows before me.
Her thoughts, her smile,
her hugs. Sweet and loving.

She comforts me
when my heart aches,
her laugh is an echo
on rainy days.
