All or nothing

I could sit atop the highest peak, halfway to the stratosphere, and yet still try to measure it against where I came from. I could be easily distracted like that.

I could be intoxicated by all or nothing.... black or white, has never been so prosperous and sophisticated and deadly fun as it is right now. CNN will fill you in, except that I hate television, and rightfully so, except that that clearly shows my bias... Ah yes... that bias... drowning in an ocean of variables... which is why I hate television, except that that clearly shows my bias... I swear I saw all of this in a dream three years ago, but don't hold me to it.

Power can be a beautiful thing. The muscle of neighbor helping neighbor. A defining act of love from a parent to a child. These things are written into the code of bedrock. These things allowed our existence from the beginning. Rest assured that they will hold us to that code. We are issued a challenge.

haha. hell, i was just complaining about the news, the corporate black and white of it, the celebrity shit and all that... well ya, ok, something like that, though i'm thankful for it all to begin with (despite the drowning in an ocean of variables).. just thinking about "the code," whatever that is..
