MIND SESSION.

She silently sits
While the psychiatrist speaks

His words poke her
From across the table

The pen he plays with
As he speaks becomes

A phallic symbol
In her messy mind

The way he turns it
Between fingers

Stroking between
Finger and thumb

And his deep set eyes
Sucking her in

Each aspect of her
Each parcel of skin

His tongue she imagines
Caresses his words

Like a fond lover
Or maybe wishes

She thinks
To lick her clean

Or suck her dry
From her clam

She sits as he speaks
Her hands joined

In her lap
Safeguarding

Her gate of joy
But oh he is silent now

His pen is motionless
Between finger and thumb

His tongue is still
Ready to strike

Like some snake
Or by some god

Silenced or struck dumb.
