I heard from him. He's out of the hospital but needs follow-up. They found a mass on his vocal cords. That's all I know for now.

Yes, that's what I told him. They'll remove it and take care of him and he'll be able to talk and sing again and feel much better!

He's convinced he's dying, though. I directed him here. I hope he reads this thread.

That's as current as I have info ... from yesterday. They found a mass on his vocal cords.

I'll keep you all posted when I hear more. He said he was going in today for a follow-up appointment. I imagine they'll do tests to determine what type of mass it is and how to approach removing it.

I heard from him again last night.

He's having surgery on Tuesday. They will do a biopsy when they remove the mass (as I understand it). I guess he might have use of a laptop in the hospital. I don't know. He said he had blood pressure problems but they've stabilized it.

Please send your healing energy as his attitude isn't very good. He's convinced he's dying.

I asked him if he wanted me to come see him in Texas. I don't know how often he has access to a computer. I've directed him here but I have no idea if he's read these messages. So just send your positive energy his way!

I've told him that his mind is strong and powerful and to believe positive things, not negative things. I hope he starts doing that!

"mass' now there is a word
I remember my sister came home a couple of years ago from a visit to her neighborhood doctor looking scared and depressed. It started when the doctors nurse told her "I will pray for you"

She come over and got on youtube and played "It's all over now baby blue" she played it and sang it a lot all day. She said she was okay with the mass thing it was the not knowing. Apparently women's abdomens are terra incognota took months and months and months of tests, misplaced tests, wrong tests ordered, more tests, and finally the good news.
