don't follow so close

Post by saw »

I'm sorry
this is just the way I feel

at this snapshot in time
so sue me

I'm, me
not, you

listen listen
you're wasting away

using too much oxygen
in my humble opinion

scrutinizing my methods
here, I've written you a poem :

why bother
with anything
why why why
does it matter
what
we do, we do
be do be doooooooo
to be
or not 2B
am I starting
to make sense
are you finally following me
'cause if you are
sorry to tell you this,

you're fucked !
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

nabokov? (i can hear sting now, on that old record by the police). just kidding...

"if you can read this poem, then you're..."

if you're thinking politically, you could take it a couple of ways (we're always "taking it" a couple ways) ...

"don't jam me with that corporatism and unstable over-consumption-based greed economy"... or, "you guys in charge don't follow so close, do you?... well here, get my drift"...

of course, you probably weren't thinking politically when you wrote this.

on a roll...
