Ball play at cow pastures

Post by Vincy »

Here is moving past
the ageing sorrow
to kick the bucket
scare the chickens
who spoiled the waters
with steroid pollute
I swallowed enough
while still at school.
With begotten karma
I salute you all
in raging fury
am a little dreary
here comes the ball
I kick it abrupt
I kick it high
to score a goal
right into the sky.
Let me ask you why
you ate the cow
before I figured how
to drink the milk.
I am on my way
to the forgotten land
where they dish the news
in tomahawk scraps.
It has been a while
since I caught this bug
reluctant to leave
without a hug
not willing to live
a life of denial
we are all drifting
right down the Nile.

Except for the Mongols - they ride along the banks and any Nile crocodiles who happen to be basking in the sun and unable to reach the water in time get eaten on the spot !
Thx, vincy. 8)
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

swimming upstream from De Nile......it's a tough journey, but probably worth it...

sadness can paralyze, but avoiding it will kill you........good poem
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism
