I can't remember who said or exactly how he said it, I think it was surfer mike maybe, and from geezer memory I think it was something like "the universe lacks for nothing and we get what we need." Or maybe it was from Spinoza and The Rolling Stones.

I am hoping you get everything you need for a full recovery.
My father "Crazy Mike" used to tell me it is all here and now, heaven or hell, and he also said there is an upside to illness, see I told you he was crazy.

I think your job is to enjoy yourself, and write. When I say I miss your voice I of course mean metaphorically. Is that a metaphor for how I hear your voice in your writing? From what you have written since you got struck by lightning again I think your voice is stronger than ever. Maybe it's like a blind person's hearing becoming more acute. I have heard that everything is metaphor. I wish I was half the writer you are.
