bell chimes tonight
upon cool breeze
melodious refrain
outside my back door
lonely rush of cars
on Lombard Street
I wait for more
steady singing of
tubular bells rises
lone voice out there
in the distance
dogs begin to bark
deep woofs and
high pitched yaps
still I listen for anything
my mind can only imagine
bells chime louder then
recede, contented night.......WIREMAN
